Chauffeur Training
Safety of our passengers is the top priority at Gateway Global. Therefore, all potential chauffeurs are carefully recruited and then screened before undergoing our training process to becoming an official Gateway Global chauffeur.
We require each Chauffeur to become certified by completing our intense and comprehensive Chauffeured Transportation and Certification Program, which involves dozens of hours of training and testing. Chauffeurs are tested on city geography, keys to safe driving, and professional courtesy. Chauffeurs must also participate in quarterly remedial training programs as well as regular surprise inspections that are conducted by our Director of Chauffeur Development.
On-Site Fleet Maintenance
Besides having a professionally trained team of chauffeurs, Gateway Global further guarantees passenger safety by having our own on-site fleet manager who supervises a staff of mechanics. This department oversees service and maintenance for all vehicles in our fleet by providing extensive mechanical and physical safeguards to promote and maintain the road-worthiness of our vehicles.
A program of inspections is conducted daily along with regular safety meetings. The fleet management team also closely monitors and performs scheduled maintenance for oil and filter changes along with frequent brake inspections.
DriveCam
To further implement passenger safety, Gateway Global has installed DriveCam Mobile Cameras, and a risk management system into our vehicles. The system tracks our chauffeurs driving techniques and provides real time feedback. The use of DriveCam eliminates driver error, prevents collisions, faulty claims, and even eliminates wasted fuel.
